Wine & Glass Packaging

Objective: create a protective package for a wine bottle and four stem wine glasses. 

• Must pass ASTM safety testing standards: 

  • Package conditioning

  • Drop test​

  • Vibration test

  • Impact test

Process:

1. Dieline for the box and inserts developed in ArtiosCad​​​​

2. Package cut out on the Kongsberg table

   • Material: c-flute corrugated board

3. Inserts are folded and glued

4. Wine bottle and glasses are placed into the bottom shadow board insert​​s

5. Top inserts are stacked above the bottom inserts within the shipper

​

Result: two shadow board inserts that sandwich the products firmly within the shipper (roll end front tuck mailer with dust flaps).

• PASSED all ISTA safety standards without any internal damage​
